“War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend: the city of the Men of Númenor, and I would have her loved for her memory, her ancientry, her beauty, and her present wisdom.” - Faramir, The Two Towers

Ladies and gentlemen, ‘Star Trek:Into Darkness’ was very good.
Benedict Cumberbatch was spectacular!!! He was a cunning, relentless, ferocious beast and it was delicious! This was one of the rare times I was rooting for the villain of the piece, and I wish he’d had a lot more face time! I was squirming in my seat waiting for him to show up every time he was off screen.
P.S. I love that we heard him before we saw him^.^
